Fani-Kayode Promises To Attract Funding For Culture, Tourism

Culture and Tourism Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode has re-affirmed his resolve to work towards attracting funds for the development of culture and tourism sectors in the country.
Speaking when he received members of the Nigerian Arts and Culture Directory Project in his office, Fani-Kayode said he would not relent in his effort to ensure the improvement of funding for the two sectors of the nation’s economy.
"Part of my job as minister is to source funds for the improvement of the sector, and I will improve on the funding of the ministry to enable it achieves its objectives," he said.
Fani-Kayode also informed his visitors of his desired support for the project. He noted that the establishment of the Nigerian Arts and Culture Directory Project in Nigeria was long overdue, judging from the number of culture and tourism activities in Nigeria. |
